We switched to Calibre in early 2014 and have found the Charm system is extremely easy to use by both drivers and lab staff.  

The Charm Antibiotics tests require no preparation and are ready straight from the tin unlike our previous kits where reagent mixing was involved before starting the test. Within 3 minutes of adding a milk sample, the Charm EZ reader has incubated and recorded the results which we download and produce reports for daily deliveries.

Calibre provided us with full training to ensure we used the strips and the reader correctly to get the best possible results. Calibre has a wide range of dairy equipment available but listened to our needs to offer us the best solution for our business size.

We are delighted with our move over to Charm and Calibre.

We are delighted with our Aquamatic 5200. It has performed flawlessly on samples from our intake and has been well within tolerance in ring checks too.

We needed a fast automatic tester for moisture and specific weight which would be accepted on trade ring check schemes to ensure its results would be unchallenged if / when we have to reject loads.

I called at the Calibre stand at Cereals 2017, where I had some very straightforward advice which led me to keep Bens business card and contact him when we were ready to proceed.

Delivery and lead time were as promised, Calibre helped with selecting a ring check scheme too so I have no hesitation in recommending the machine and Calibre as a supplier.

Calibre Control have supplied EB Bradshaw & Sons Ltd with equipment and Supplies for as far as I can remember.

If you order on day one, you generally get it day 2 or 3. If any equipment breaks down the servicing department always do their best to get you going again. Gareth the service engineer always represents his company in a most positive way.

If all companies performed like Calibre, life would be much more easier. I conclude by saying that I have in the past and continue to do so, believe that Calibre Cotnrol are in a league of their own.

We recognised that our existing (portable) farm moisture meters weren’t giving us the accuracy and consistency that we needed for our farming business. Having spent some time investigating different makes and suppliers as well as talking to farming contemporary’s we choose to purchase an Aquamatic 5200 from Calibre. I must say that the communication, service and support have been first class. Ben came out to the farm and installed the machine for us and carefully took the time to ensure the team fully understood its operation. We anticipate that the new moisture meter will save our business money in ensuring grains are dried and stored correctly and meet specifications when leaving the farm.

We came to Calibre as we needed a bulk milk tank antibiotic testing kit which had the same sensitivity as our milk processor. Calibre’s staff are polite and helpful and very knowledgeable on the different tests available. Their website is easy to use and informative and the ordering process straightforward.
